Pop Up Shops and Holiday Markets 2022
Last year our event DC Fall Fashion Collective was successful in shedding light on DC’s small business community. The ticketed event featured six unique creators (shout out to Bailiwick Clothing, Batax, Happy Flores, Modern Lusso, Coleman Girls Collection and The Otterly!) who set up their shops inside a space, (the then-called Common Thread) at Union Market while attendees received goody bags with gifts from sponsors, listened to music by DJ Theo and got to watch the artist Rodrigo Pradel create a live painting outdoors. The event was supported by DC’s OCTFME. Donations from attendees benefitted the Whitman Walker Foundation. We remain connected with participants from last year’s event and have expanded our list of friends who have small shops in the area. They asked if we know of any upcoming pop up shops and markets locally and we came up with a list which we are sharing with you!
